about

The title "The well-tempered pianist" is of course a nod to J.S. Bach. The translation "well-tuned pianist" refers to the true nature of the pianist: well-tempered, in a cheerful mood. When professor of piano meets Johan Duijck daily hat threatening young people crosses and moles experienced as a drawing. Hence the intention to present all the keys in four books of twelve short, child-friendly pieces.

1. Klavertjevier op.5
2. Illuminatio op.7
3. Recognitio op.10
4. Zeven(-)mijlslaarsjes op.13
5. Discretio op.14
6. The well-tempered pianist
