Here too, nothing else than CD premieres of works that one never hears in the concert halls. You will hear his First Piano Concerto in D op.21 from 1924, probably one of the best Flemish piano concertos of the first half of the twentieth century. The CD is supplemented with the Six Préludes. 5 (1921), the ballad "Ex Vita Mea" (from my Life). 3a (1917), both works for piano solo and finally the Indian scenes from De Jong's most famous work "The Song of Hiawatha" for two pianos (1936, without opus number) in an arrangement by Marinus de Jong himself and completed by Jozef de Beenhouwer .

On the cover is a very beautiful painted portrait of Marinus de Jong as 29-year-old by the plastic artist Wim van Remortel from Beveren-Waas, honorary professor at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Antwerp, visiting professor in Prague, Bejing and various other cities in China.
